Final shave of OCtober...

And what better way to finish a great month of Open Comb shaves than the King of Open Combs - the GEM Micromatic Open Comb (MMOC)

Southerly change hit Sydney last night so temperature is 20 degrees cooler than this time yesterday. Spiced Mahogany weather ! Loads of Shaver Heaven lather before breaking out the MMOC. New GEM SS coated blade.

Three smooth and careful passes for a definite BBS finish. On with the Bay City and into Tuesday.

I am glad i delayed my morning shave, as I ve just received my One Blade Core v2

Preshave : Proraso
Razor : One blade Core v2 with a new feather blade
Soap : Proraso
After Shave : Home made

It was a good shave, really close, uneventful, with zero Alum feedback, it did a great job on my difficult area, almost boring but great for my daily shave (until tomorrow when I should receive a SE black Hawk ;-) ).I like it, perhaps i will drop $600 next year on the Genesis and ask/beg Wifey for forgiveness.

Nearly finished the Greek Peach. I've got into a groove with the Rockwell and Greek Peach now that I have been using nothing else for a couple of months at least. I start off a new blade on plate 2 for a couple of shaves, move to plate 4 for the next couple of shaves and then it's plate 6 until about 15 shaves are done and I start noticing it's losing efficiency / closeness from there. Always a WTG/ATG/ATG shave and a BBS result with no damage. Hard to beat that...
