Razor: Ever Ready 1912
Blade: Ted Pella Gem SS (5)
Post: Myrsol Emulsion/Proraso White Sensitive
EdP: L'Artisan Fou d'Absinthe

Another mentholated shave - this time with the venerable Proraso Green. Not quite as slick as the previously deployed Stirling lather, but no complaints.
Three passes for a DFS+. I've got to say that I'm really enjoying the 1912, now that I'm starting to dial in the angle and pressure.

They are a great razor Tom - great audible note as they shave too ;)

Shave no. 6 of 28 planned shaves and pretty much on par with the last few shaves - very audible feedback with some annoying neck irritation :eek: The Derby blade seems to be holding up, minus the need for buffering over my chin area. No blood letting as of yet and I should really give my neck a rest for a day but in the spirit of the challenge I will perserve and shave this blade all the way :punch: Happy shaves! #blade_of_glory (y)

Bit of a bonus picture today, I was sideswiped by a fully laden cement lorry who decided to change lanes without checking his blind spot on the way to work this morning.

Fortunately there were no injuries whatsoever but I could have been seriously injured or killed quite easily and the collision could have involved other motorists as it was peak hour. I took a defensive driver course some time back as I spend a lot of time on the roads so I walked away from this only a little shaken and with the car basically trashed. This is on the Western Distributor that feeds onto the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

Please be safe our there on out roads people, and watch out for bloody truck drivers :)

WOW mate, that could have ended up a lot worse. Glad you seem OK - but do make sure you look after yourself over the next few days.

I am fine mate, back to work tomorrow in a hire care. The benefits of extra driver training cannot be understated.

Truck driver is picking up a neg driving and change lane unsafely fines for being such a bloody idiot and quite deservedly too. If I had rolled it over the barrier in the picture into traffic, or turned into the truck and gone under his back wheels the outcome in all likelihood would have been very different.

Thankfully the outcome wasn't worse.My father started a panel beating business in the early '60s,my brother took over and now his son owns it. I was raised seeing the results of idiots on the roads.
So many idiots.

It's my first ever accident and I have been driving for 26 years, I was only reading just the other day that in NSW there has been a massive increase of accidents involving trucks too. I see Cement trucks and Double B trucks really moving on the Sydney roads every day, I know they are professional drivers who rely on driving for their income but they need to pull their heads in because it's so bloody easy for them to kill someone when they hoon.

Can fully appreciate how you're likely feeling.
In my younger days, I was stationary at a set of lights when a truck delivering for one of the chicken brands decided to change lanes and peeled the side of my then AE86 open like a tin can!

You are right about an increase in truck traffic.
This is in part due to the purchase/outbidding of rail contracts by road transport mobs and removing those rail services to road services.

The B Double dump trucks, or Mud Carters as some call them are probably the worse of the lot, even other truck drivers reckon the majority of them should have their license cancelled!

Still glad you walked away and are ok, yet may I humbly suggest a stiff drink or two once home?
