first shave of the week

Pre:nothing special, but I face lathered today
machine: UFO+WEBER+ Astragreen
brush: BSB2 silvertip
soap: APR Coeur de Vert
post:rest of the lather to the face, shower + APR Coeur de Vert splash

I got some irritation. I shave night yesterday and morning today, so not many hours in between, so I reckon was due to face lathering
Have a nice week!

Mondial Florence, Semogue 1305, Ballend Tech, Polsilver, Witch Hazel, Vaseline Intensive Care
After housework, yard work and some training I did not feel like a straight shave today so decided on the Tech.I think the last time I used it was around 8 weeks ago,Nacet was still ok but swapped it out.Felt a bit of a catch on left throat but thinking it was technique,no cut but more of a scrape, two passes with a bit of irritation on top lip and chin which is unusual but ended with a smooth result.

I enjoy face lathering, but making the lather in a bowl is really nice, watching how it grows and explode. This time the splash really stung on my face after the shower. I should probably take that as a "face notification" regarding not to face lather when very close, BBS shaves occur also very close on time :)

Possibly ‘cause you’re drinking the aftershave. How long have you had that bottle of Coeur De Vert? Man, you’re ripping through it. Must be good stuff!(y)

hahaha, yes, I actually abuse of the splashes through all my face :D.
I have just got an electronic scale (for doing weird stuff like weighting soaps and fit models to their use) and i have realized that it is probably my most used soap according the its current weight, close by Fouguere bourbon rose and The warden, but i have not used it that much during summer. Also, I have more splashes than soaps. Well, soon probably not anymore :D

Proraso Red, Semogue 1800, Bengall, Witch Hazel, Nivea, VCS

Good shave with the Bengall, two passes and still a little irritation on the chin.Still slow and steady but technique is improving as I can cover more area with each stroke than before. So using more of the blade.
Getting more confident with these straights.
