Shower / Witch Hazel & Tea Tree Oil + Rockwell balm

Umm bison tallow! :shame: Super slick lather with a delightful scent profile that's really growing on me. A bit of razor burn on the neck but worth it as I achieved another BBS shave. Have a great Thursday guys :)

I'm liking the sound of the Epsilon Horse. I've been thinking about trying one for myself.
I don’t regret buying it, it’s a nice brush and they’re not overly expensive. I’ll buy another horse brush but a smaller knot maybe higher loft like a Vie-Long (American style handle). The 26mm Epsilon lacks a little flow through and is a bit of a soap hog but has a nice face feel. I prefer my Vie-Long Horse/Badger.

Pre: Warm water
Razor: Rockwell 6S (R5)
Blade: Perma-Sharp Super (2)
Brush: Razorock BC Silvertip Synthetic
Soap: Phoenix & Beau Imperial Rum
Post: Proraso Red Aftershave Lotion

Superb lather and nice shave ruined by a silly decision to do some very awkward diagonal strokes on sensitive parts of my neck. What compels me to try these things I'll never know!

Have a nice day everyone.

Brush - Yaqi Mysterious Space Tuxedo
Soap - Dr Jon’s Classic sample
Razor - Rockwell 6s R4
Blade - Kai
Aftershave - Stirling Ben Franklin

First go with the Yaqi today and it was pretty good. Different to the Big Bruce as the knot seems shorter, probably set deeper into the handle I guess. Splay was good for face lathering and the lather itself seemed to be a faster process. Maybe it holds a better amount of water since I only had to add water 3 times in all.

Have a great day, fellas!

razor: 6s
blade: gsb
brush: maggard synth
soap: b&m reserve cool sample
splash: anne bonny
after reading endless great reviews for floid blue on other forums i thought id give cool a go as the closest possible alternative. i cant see what the fuss is about its just rexona sport. if not identical its close enough with the b.o smell and all. definitely not a fan.i suppose it would make it easy to match your deodorant and aftershave if you wanted. i couldn't get the lather dialled in either but that was my own fault i loaded light and worked in to much water i think after reading of the troubles others have had and the remedy seemingly more water and a light load i just went full boar in that direction. i also have a sample of fern so might run with that tomorrow to give the base a good run without that awful stink from the cool.
