Trying out the 1920's Flying Man. All works well, the sprung head holds the blade tight and the geometry of the head is not too aggressive, so no nicks or weepers. However, due to the lightweight design, it bounced around on a few days growth and even after a couple of passes it was far from smooth.
The Squadron soap was great, as ever, and the patina (rust) of the tin makes it look as old as the razor!​

First outing with the Pils razor. Beautiful fit and finish. A unique two-piece design that seems to clamp the blade very precisely, and with no curvature.
Three passes for an super-comfortable and effortless DFS+. Very impressed. Reminds me of the AS-D2, but with more heft/momentum, and seems slightly more efficient.
Lovely shave!

3. on the third there is a lady in a window being 'sold' like some supermarket sale item;
4. on the fourth there is a restaurant selling horse meat stew as a delicacy.
