Horse hair Vie Long with my own shave soap.
Finished with a light smear of Almond oil.
The razor is a full hollow 9/8 the scales are made from blonde horn, and the tang is covered with vintage Ivory.

I love the big blades as I find them to result in far less blood loss... My current shave is an 8/8 extra hollow.

Do you strop your carbon steel blades?
I could be wrong, yet they look like the type that you can sharpen multiple times, utilising those quirky devices you see on eBay for loose change.
I'm interested to hear how it works out for you.I do not but, now that you've mentioned it, I'll give it a try. I noticed that they are much thicker than my Super Blue Blades & Thin blades from the 70's
