Hi @Gargravarr it's a pleasant scent, one I am happy to keep in rotation but not one I would buy again, not sexy like the Stirling Man scents, I like the barbershop and bay rum scents myself. Reminds me of the original Norsca deodorant stick (soapy pine scent). I traded Simpsons Creams for the coniferous and then bought witch hazel and aloe aftershave and post shave balm prior to Artisan Arcade stocking Stirling. Since discovering APR Serum I am off the balms.

Willing to do a catch and release or trade if you have something of interest

Would you call Coniferous a fougere scent ?

I was interested in feedback from this soap as I had not heard from anyone locally using it until now.

Hi @rhodes96 I am no perfumer but do not think it is a fougere scent, not an overpowering pine scent either more a mossy pine smell as the description says

A blend of Scots Pine, Fir Needle, Texas Cedarwood, and Lichen Essential Oils. This isn’t your typical “woodsy” smell found in shaving and cologne products. This is you taking a stroll through the forest when out of nowhere two trees jump out and pin you to the ground while a third three sits on top of you and beats the stuffing out of you. Then, once he’s done, he jams some moss up your nose. Caution: May cause excessive Manliness. (Essential Oil)

Soap/Cream: Squadron Soap Coronet Fougere shaving soap

I can attest to the description above. In fact, the original description uses "sawdust" rather than "moss", which for me is more accurate. I think Stirling made the change as this was offputting to some.
It is a bridge too far for me. My sweetspot for this type of scent is Stirling's Ozark Mountain.
