Pre: Pb PSE
Soap: NO RAWR
Brush: Matilda
Razor: Colonial General
Blade: Shick Proline (6)
Post: Faena Citrus Aftershave Balm
I'm surprised I don't see more of the General on line as it's one of my best performing razors. There's a thread somewhere of @Draco Noir singing the praises of this razor and @Errol rates it highly. Do any of you fellas that frequent OS forums see much of the General these days? I was going to get Mrs Pbgoose to get me the SS General for Christmas but they were out of stock. Just as well the wish list has multiple alternatives.:ROFLMAO:
Mrs Pbgoose isn't a fan of the RAWR scent. I want to like it but it keeps singing ARKO to me. It produces an excellent lather though so I won't be moving it on.

Pre: Face Wash
Razor: R41
Blade: Gillette 7’OClock Yellow
Brush: Yaqi 26mm Tuxedo
Soap: The Noir Et Vanille
Post: AMICI Splash

It’s been a long while sine the R41 had a run, and it did not disappoint.. three traditional passes resulted in a dolphin smooth (touch above BBS) shave. Have always loved this razor and with the right prep gives zero issues, nothing but a super clean and smooth shave.

This blade pairs perfectly with the R41, possibly the best I have used for this razor, thanks again for the intro @Gargravarr

Pre: Hot water
Razor: Blackland Vector
Blade: Schick Proline
Brush: Forgotten Art "Southern Skies" 30mm Snow Leopard
Soap: Mystic Water Jeff's Lavender
Post: Shower, Stirling Bergamot Lavender EDT

Recently, I've had a lot of interruptions during my shaves, which spoils the Zen of the moment, so it's nice to have time to take a leisurely 4 passes to a perfect DFBBS. This little razor is so pretty to look at, and performs so flawlessly with any blade, it makes the rabbit hole of single-edges seem very shallow, in that it's so easy to resist the temptation to acquire more. You can't improve on perfection...

Brush: @Vlasta Alpha T-400 24mm Silvertip
Razor: Rocca V4 R94
Blade: Platinum (1)
Pre: Shower
Soap: MWF
Post: TSW After Balm

Such an enjoyable shave with this setup. First shave with the Platinum blade in the Rocca and very smooth & efficient. My third favourite blade I've tested so far but will it last past 5 shaves...?
Always a pleasure using MWF and the T-400 is a great brush but the knot requires some effort as its just not as dense as I'm used to. Very similar to a plissoft synthetic that feels nice and gets the job done with patience.
Stay Safe & Happy Shaves!
