Karve B plate provides the required comfort for a shave when the day prior was a touch harsh. This soap is awesome IMO.

I can understand why the Karve is so popular, a very intuitive razor that delivered a nice close shave

Round 2 with the Gillette Nacet after a lacklustre first impression. Far better experience this time, two pass, smooth shave with no irritation.

Today was Rotterdam - Brussels, Brussels - London, and then will be (now) London - Singapore, Singapore - Melbourne, Melbourne - Canberra. One of the benefits of having some status on QF is that they have re-routed me from SIN - MEL as QF2 has a 13 hours layover in SIN, presumably because of this - https://www.theaustralian.com.au/bu...s/news-story/9a1616cec4edaf1be92021cc02f168d6

Oh, and in case you think I've brought back a stash of shaving gear, or toilet paper, my bag has actually LOST weight!

No clue why. Not that concerned with that to be honest, but annoying for sure. At least you picked up some new sectors on the QF1 delay & re-route. SIN>MEL would be rare for you and I.

Did pick up SYD>CBR and CBR>SIN sectors last year on SQ. The SYD>CBR sector is my shortest on record, and in a B77W no less. Will be doing it again soon but on an ATR-72 this time.

Keeping on topic - I didn't shave today. Yesterday was Fatboy, Personna Red, Playtpus, APR Fresca Intensa Soap & AS.

The Madison Avenue is a delightful soap and scent. A touch of lanolin but only enough to burn and not irritate.
The Karve is so intuitive this morning I was about to adjust the angle and the razor said "stop *ucking around and just shave" :)
Not sure if I have gone a bit too aggressive with "E" plate for a daily shave, only time will tell.

A super smooth SOTD with the beast + Rubie. What is usually a tricky shave with the beast was comfortable a trouble free. Really going to stockup on these blades as they work well with all my aggressive razors :) Continued with the Cella and it really is an underrated soap with a pleasant scent. Missing the Serum so grabbed the trusty Proraso balm but man is my forehead developing some blemishes :( Happy shaves!

A quick head shower shave tonight with the go-to Leaf. Not as smooth as this mornings shave as one of the blades seemed to be miss aligned. No major damage and satisfactory results so can't complain! :) Happy shaves!

I've done SIN-MEL on QF36 before off QF2 - MEL can be a quicker change to domestic than SYD and an overall quicker arrival home.

They ended up cancelling the SIN - SYD leg of QF2 - crew had no idea of what their next sector would be. In even better news than being re-booked BEFORE the flight, lots were in the huddle on arriving in SIN for new flight details, at the gate to board I got an upgrade to PE, and ended up having a spare seat next to me. I think that they upgraded all the Plats, there were a few boarding passes on the desk. So I enjoyed a refurned A380 in seat -
