Another superb shave to end the week. Had a brilliant run with this blade. Usually only get 5 shaves out of AC type blades.

(y) Yeah, I almost withdrew the comment thinking how inappropriate it would be to use the cat (or anything) for both toiletries, and a soft shaving brush for the other :banghead:

The big boar doesn't need breaking in it is such a big soft beast of a boar with less scritch than a pure badger

Soap/Cream:- Valobra (4 shaving sticks press into a 250 ml plastic tub)
Razor/Blade:- Gillette Ball End Tech (0.56mm) 1946-50 / Gillette Stainless (red & white) #7
Post/After-shave:- T.N. Dickinson Witch Hazel Astringent mixed into the 240ml bottle with Natural Glycerin (20 drops) & Tea Tree Antiseptic (10)

The Treet gave a decent shave but not stunning like the other day in the Rocnel Elite. If this was the first razor I tried these blades in I would've gone 'Meh'.

Weekend shaves were a mixed bag. Cella + Yaqi + PS Lathering Bowl = consistently great lather. The Bic blade is super sharp so thought it a good idea to pair with super mild Mamba and received a SFS with spots of regrown around the chin within a few hours. There's a reason I hardly use the Mamba as its just too inefficient for my liking :(

Todays shave was much better as the Karve paired exceptionally with the sharper blade that I managed to nick myself on the check. Finished off with the Serum and some Junos EdT sample which got the thumbs up from the misses (y)

Another excellent lather from the badger and the wr2 is just amazingly smooth but so efficient, at times this is taken for granted and rewarded with a weeper or two.
