So exciting when new gear arrives and after careful deliberation ended with the above combo. The scent of the soap was amazing and got an excellent lather. Still get whiffs of the splash 4 hrs later, such a nice smell.

Whenever I looked at this handle on Brian's website, I just couldn't get a vibe for it. However, I am so glad I took a punt. In my opinion it is great. So many different ways to hold it. The knurling is so intricate. It also offers great balance. As for the head. I know that the lvl 2 are just right for my beard and I was not disappointed. Interestingly though, this closed comb (latest gen) felt more aggressive than my level 2 open comb (earlier gen). Still a fantastic shave though.​

the scent is amazing.. truly.. i do not like overly sweet scents at all as i find them 'sickly' this one here is sweet but not sickly in any way. You can def smell the honey, and it sort of reminds me of butterscotch, its so nice

Unfortunately cannot shave twice a day every day. The straights are just too efficient at reducing regrowth.
