Took a bit more time over my prep this morning in an attempt to get closer to BBS with this blade, but it didn't work, result was DFS(+). It was OK though, the shave was still as buttery-smooth as yesterday. I didn't need it, but I reckon this combo would be perfect for those times when you want to give your skin a break. There are a few of us around here who get good results using what many of us consider to be sub-par blades, so I have a feeling they might just do well with this one. If anyone wants to have a go, I'm happy to stick a few blades in an envelope...

It's a relatively recent tree fell so I just thought it was a little crystallization of the sap. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯Looks like a nice slime-mould culture you've got growing on your stump there
I'm looking forward to my dog-vomit slime mould coming back this spring...

After: APR, Suitably Attired (sample bottle)
AP delivered today, so cleaned up the new razor and straight to business tonight with it. Sweet
The gold Fatboy, but with squared knurling as opposed to the diamond knurl on the nickel 195 Adjustable:- Fatboy.
A little plate loss on the bar and doors as expected through normal usage, but in great shape otherwise.

New Feather blade this time in the razor, and although a really good shave, I didn't get a jump in efficiency I expected, and had to go ATG to achieve a satisfactory result. Quite unusual for the sharpest blade on the block. Although a smooth shave, it was not as smooth as the Minora blade with dozens of shaves on it.
