Good idea!!!

They seem expensive but last for ages. My fav is Saponificio Varesino but the shipping is outrageous. I haven’t tried the Aussie soaps yet.

Tried out the short thick heavy handle today and provided a DFS but not as good as yesterday's UFO due to having to be more careful with the added weight

I can't give too much praise for the DRH soaps, the base is just superb. It's a total lather bomb. I love Windsor, but so much the lavender. Haven't tried Marlborough or Arlington "yet".

SOTD – Wed 4 Apr 2022
Aussie Wednesday with Blue Devil Shave Co – LAVENDER PATCH, Sensitive Skin Formula (mild scent strength). Blue Devil soap is Tallow based and uses only Essential Oils for scenting. Scent Profile: “Lavender, Bergamot and Orange”.

Shave Result: For me Blue Devil is a Top Tier soap base for lather and performance. The half teaspoon scoop of soap quickly produced a rich and creamy lather even with my new Boar brush, not quite fully broken in yet. Scent was a pleasant Floral Lavender forward aroma with some citrus undertones, scent strength for this sensitive skin formula was 4/10. Set the Rockwell 6c on plate #4 for the entire shave, the RK blade felt sharp and smooth throughout, for me a nice blade in the 6c. Overall a excellent DFS, just the one minor nick.
