This beautiful Yardley soap has only a few weeks left in it. I'm not rushing to kill it though, especially since I have a few (now absurdly expensive) backups awaiting their turn.

SOTD – Sun 8 Jan 2023​

Featured Soap: Soap Commander - Emerge, it has a Vegan base and scent described as: “base of spiced lavender and ambrette, enhanced with nuances of woods, orange blossom, sage, and sea salt.”. I don’t see a lot of Soap Commander featured in SOTD, but it’s a great Vegan soap base.

Shave Result: Soap Commander produces an excellent performing lather IMO. To me the scent is a slightly sweet floral slightly musky aroma, scent strength on the mild side 4/10. The shaves this week with Karve AL Overlander were very enjoyable indeed and the Dorco Prime HQ blade gave smooth clean results without irritation.
