Lather: Chiseled Face - Santa Paula NEW
Post: Barrister and Mann - Nordost - Balm
First shave with the Overlander and it was a great one. Very smooth and close to BBS. Santa Paula is a nice scent, perfect match with the Nordost balm.

Hi @MadFlava81 I had to give it another run tonight to confirm first impressions it is "deceptively sharp". I could not use as a daily driver because I am consistently removing the top off a mole and leaves my face feeling a bit raw and because of this I am not applying any pressure and therefore not scraping the lather cleanly. Personally for a daily driver I prefer the GC_84-P, Lupo 95 and Apollo Light with aggressive plate or for a slightly milder shave the H&S No75. The Blutt is a beautifully designed razor, very angular and I love the way the top cap covers the blade tabs while the plate leaves them exposed. I was lucky enough to score the original handle and still have the 0.99 plate to try and will see if this makes a difference. If not, may be a catch & release for me
That's sad, it's a very attractive razor that caught my eye the first time I saw it. I love that knurling on the handle. Maybe you could try it as a frankenrazor with another plate or cap from your collection before you give up on it?...If not, may be a catch & release for me
