Coming back to the old-style TND after months using Thayer's, I think I'll stick with the former.

Stems from early days when I bought a sampler pack and most of them are at the lower end of @SpeedyPC scale (derby, shark and mostly unknown brands unless in a sampler pack) Astra SP and Lord Platinum were standout from that pack and then of course I joined P&C and heard about all the Gillette, Wizamet and vintage blades esp. Aussie spoilers. Astra SP and Wizamet are my staple with Aussie Spoilers being favourite. I've settled on an efficient razor with a middle of the range blade rather than a mild razor with a FeatherInteresting choice of blade for a baseline. Many consider them a bit blunt, but I guess they are probably the most easily available blades in Australia...![]()

Thanks very much for the loan, @Holiday. I enjoyed that plate.Just got the 0.99 plate back from @TomG so I can give an update in a few weeks but I think with the Blutt as with Muhle R94/5/6 and Rockwell 6S I might be in the minority
