RAZOR: Rocnel 2021 Sailor Series Adjustable Razor @3
BLADE: Personna
BRUSH: AP ShaveCo. Jade 26mm Gel SHD Fan (A3)

LATHER: Taylor Of Old Bond Street Sandalwood Shaving Soap
POST: Taylor Of Old Bond Street Sandalwood Aftershavr Lotion

No pic today... 😐

Pre-shave: Hot flannel, Pears soap
Brush: Forgotten Art "Tarkine" 26mm shoat
Soap: Stirling - Campania
Razor: ΑΛΦΑ Claymore Evolution
Blade: Schick Proline
Post-shave: Shower, TND witch hazel, homebrew moisturiser, La Roche-Posay Anthelios SPF50+ Invisible Fluid
COTD: Mocha Ismaili, Yemen

The Claymore has been getting a bad rap from a few quarters lately, despite @Errol's glowing review of it as a "bloody good" "outstanding piece of kit". So I revisited it this morning to check that I wasn't barking. Sure enough, I got an almost perfect DBS in just two passes that has lasted all day. Can't argue with that: result.

Pre-shave:- Cool Shower
Bowl/Scuttle:- Captain's Choice
Brush:- Semogue 2016 Foro Afeitado Limited Edition Finest Badger 25/50mm knot
Soap/Cream:- D.R. Harris ~ Arlington
Razor/Blade:- Blackbird Lite SB Polished / Gillette Nacet #9
Post/After-shave:- T.N. Dickinson Witch Hazel Astringent mixed into the 240ml bottle with Invite E High Potency Pure Oil (10 drops), Natural Plant Glycerin (20) & Tea Tree Oil Antiseptic (5)
Moisturising Cream:- Aveeno Active Naturals Daily Fragrance-Free (for autumn & winter season)
Fragrance:- Proraso Wood & Spice

I keep forgetting how reliably good the D.R. Harris triple-milled soap is, and the post-shave feels pretty darn good and not as great as higher-up with the MWF post-shave feels.

Prep: Valobra Glicerlanolina Soap, Myrsol Emulsion
Brush: TroyCraft Sapphire Amphora 3-band Silvertip Badger
Soap: Boellis Panama 1924
Razor: Blackland Blackbird
Blade: Vintage NOS Personna Super Platinum Chrome (1)
Post: Thayers Cucumber Witch Hazel, Alt Innsbruck Aftershave Lotion
Scent: Boellis Panama 1924 EdT

Very enjoyable shave. The Alt Innsbruck and Boellis Panama scents match beautifully.

I thoroughly enjoyed this shiny, dense and weighty razor. It has the best thread tolerance/engagement I ever felt; screwing the handle on was utterly satisfying. The level of blade feel (Minora) and audio feedback was at odds with the smoothness of the shave. A tad more efficient than the mighty Blackbird. Definitely a keeper.

Soooo.... Are you planning on selling the Blackbird?

Well, at the risk of TMI, I do manscape and have a dedicated mild razor for that. BBS is not imperative in those areas.
Try hair waxing removal, like giving a bloody quick rip. The women use on their hairy legs.

 Waxing those delicate bits scares the hell out of me, and I'm not easily scared. Some women do that voluntarily.

I wonder if Bear Grylls is up to that challenge. I'd be willing to bet he is not.

I definitely know better than to suggest that Mme G might consider doing that. A one-way trip to the doghouse. Fortunately we are both of an age when luxuriant full-bush was the norm, so I've never learnt any different.
