Pre-shave: Hot flannel, Pears soap
Brush: Troycraft "Polar Nocturne" 28mm AP Titanium
Soap: Valobra + a drop of rose EO 3%
Razor: Blackland Sabre
Blade: Personna GEM Stainless
Post-shave: Shower, TND witch hazel, homebrew moisturiser, La Roche-Posay Anthelios SPF50+ Invisible Fluid, Oxford & Cambridge cologne
COTD: Elephant Hills, India
The Sabre isn't universally loved here, but for me it's such a comfortable, cruisy shave, it's a great way to go through the week without needing to go for BBS. But in combination with the incomparable Valobra lather, I somehow end up with BBS without even trying.

Razor:- Tatara Masamune Nodachi
Blade:- Treet Platinum (4)
Aftershave:- Wholly Kaw/The Club - Madison Avenue
I can see why some find the TMN aggressive because it is at the pinnacle of efficiency for my mileage and if I don't adjust for different angles on the neck it does burn a little.
The TSM Fougere is an amazing base. I don't know how old this soap is but expect its a few years old. There is no shrinkage down sides of tub and blooms instantly with a beautiful strong scent.
That brush looks beautiful there.

Definitely evocative of some of the amazing wetlands I saw when I was up your way a little while ago. Never having been to the NT before, it was something of a surprise (though I guess it shouldn't have been) to see so much of the place was underwater.

Shave Result: Blue Devil I rate as one of my Top Tier so top lather and performance are a given. The scent is a great blend of Peppermint and Patchouli with a mild menthol feel, medium scent strength. The TRC AL gave a DFS with no weepers nor irritation despite the Personna blade feeling a bit rough in this razor.
