Shaving Creams / Soaps / Bowl Lathering / Face Lathering

This stuff is very very good had a tube up until about 6 months ago. Awesome easy to lather great slickness and cushion

-Firstly, I definitely agree with @alfredus comments about face lathering! Also I believe that more time with the brush working the lather into the whiskers before the razor hits them, can only be a good thing.

-Using creams feels a bit like taking a shortcut to me and there isn't the huge range of artisan products like there is with soaps. Also Barrister & Mann only make soaps as far as I know.

Face lathering for me. Prime reason is that typically shave in the shower, using a fog-resistant mirror. I am sh*t-scared that I'd drop my precious DR Harris bowl! I use this for soaking my brush and razor pre and post shave.
Also, I feel that the more time that the brush is on the face, the better the lather works into the whiskers.
