Second Shave
Soap: D. R. Harris Lavender
Blade: New Blue Personna
For the first pass I tried setting 5, for the second pass level 4, and third pass level 3 was used. The shave itself was comfortable and smooth. Efficiency is not on a Blackbird level on any setting but is good enough for a mild razor. There is some slight blade feel on settings 4 and 5 with the Personna blade, but not a great deal.
For the first shave I used a Shark super stainless blade. I noticed quite a lot of blade feel on setting 3 and above, and the shave was not that smooth or comfortable. So, if you want lots of blade feel put a crap blade (Shark, Bic) and you’ll be impressed. For me, this razor ticks all the boxes; razor tabs are covered, razor is smooth, efficient and minimal blade feel.
