The finished products sticky

Mate, I didn’t “believe” when reading reviews etc on how long this stuff lasts. I got a jar of Original in the last Cancer Council Auction and as part of my soap rotation I’ve used it 49 times and it still looks full at the rim? Go figure? 🤔

Yep, full on Magic Pudding material... :D

Yep, I've been using this for (I think) 3 years, loading frequently and heavily. Most artisan soaps peg out after only a few months of this treatment. Soon I'll have more arrivals to keep me busy, but I shall return to MdC in the future.

I picked up a few of these when they were on special locally. Three to go... :)

LOOK!

A rare sight, a finished SV 70th (with trademark Speedy Speck* of course)

I'm pretty sure that this was purchased from @shavetheman at the 18 March 2017 Sydney Meet-Up, see pics here.

Now to replace it with the MDC ...

*Speedy Speck: That tiny bit of soap left in an otherwise empty container that @SpeedyPC insists will actually produce lather for a dozen more shaves.

I do believe this might be the first time I've seen one of these. Of course, this means you are now the proud custodian of a Useful Tin. You can never have too many of those...

Ah, no, it is unfortunately NOT, the lid is not flat. Useful tins (TM) have flat lids for stacking

Thanks for the photos - great stuff!

I have finished a stick of arko. Maybe a teaspoon left but it was hard to load the brush so I have pressed the leftover on top of a new stick. I use it once a week for a headshave with my big proraso boar.

It is a bit funny with arko in my case. I like the performance (I believe it is better than for example proraso) and the fragrance was not a problem for me. Just a cheap soap. Then I have started reading all the criticism and now I do not like it too much. This is my last stick and for now I do not plan to rebuy.

I believe you’re very lucky to have as much Arko as you do, rumour has it most stock is purchased by @SpeedyPC for his Arko Museum, again a rumour!! You’re not alone in “liking” its performance, blokes here and in NZ will back me up on that, $ for performance hard to beat IMHO

Excuse me Tassie pissy, I don’t have an Arko Museum.
