This soap and splash set is new and used and was acquired specifically for a Paste & Cut Charity Auction - that time has come now with this mini-auction, closing 8:00pm Saturday 13 June 2026 (subject to auction terms regarding dynamic closing).

Late in November 2019 there was another Australian Private Reserve limited edition collaboration released, this time with Highland Springs Soap Co.

Eclipse

Eclipse was born from a desire to create a dark musky fragrance, although at the time, we had no idea it would bear that moniker. We have collaborated with Australian private reserve as they are well-known in creating complex scents; a perfect fit.

The long list of notes come together beautifully to create a truly one of a kind experience. Russian leather and dark musk are predominant initially, followed by blond tobacco dried fig and bourbon then rounding out with floral notes of Carnation, Geranium and Lavender.

The dry down on this scent emphasizes it’s complexity, like the moon slowly passing in front of the sun, it darkens over time, leaving you in the shadows of Eclipse.

Profile wise this scent is very complex. I'd definitely classify this as a cologne type scent. Here are the notes:

• Top notes: Bergamot, Dried Fig, Carnation, Mimosa, Cedarwood & Carnation
• Heart Notes: Cocoa, White Rum, Blond Tobacco, Russian Leather, Narcissus, Pink Pepper, Bourbon Geranium & Lavender
• Base Notes: Benzoin, Sandalwood, Civet, Oud, Amyris, Citrus & Black Musk

To my nose, initially the soap smells dark with a bright note under it. Once lathered it opens up to a wonderful cologne smell that I struggle to define. Scent strength wise, the puck is definitely strong and the scent continues to be strong through the entire shave.

This will most likely be the only opportunity you will ever have to get this soap - so I'm leaving this auction open for longer to ensure that everyone has a chance to bid.
