Waiting sucks

I am doing my best to be patient but its Frday and it sucks far worse when you`ve got the, "it could possibly come today" thought in your head. Waiting is bad enough but having to wait over weekends just plain sucks large. I`ve got a 1937 injector from a BBS member and a "Mint, Army Issue Gem Jnr with all boxes and instructions" (that I stumbled on with 2 mins to go and no other bids) and a box of Arko. They could all possibly get here today but.......................
 
Occupational harzard unfortunately. If waiting on stuff from the US, and private sellers, give yourself a month. Some people don't have much urgency in getting stuff posted, and then it'll take 2-3 weeks as well.
 
Everything due has arrived except my Arko. Vendor told me that customs is usually a hold up with anything thing from their Turkish grocery emporium lol.
 
What Arko product are you waiting on?

I scored a box of blades and soaps from someone and they chucked in a tube of Arko, I had never heard of it previously.

Fairly bland and unobtrusive stuff IMO.

Is it any good?
 
Arko has a rep as an awesome and uber cheap soap, but a smell that scares rats away.

Never tested the theory - you'll be our expert. :)
 
I`ve got 6 Arko sticks coming from a Turkish specialist grocery in NYC. It is a very cheap soap that has fans worldwide, the fragrance is about the only negative thing I`ve heard about it. $6 postage is 2x dearer than the sticks, they will be a nice payback piece and maybe part of a little noob PIF if the forum gets that far.
