The second season of Joe picket has just started on Amazon prime. It's about an American Game Warden in a small Wyoming town. You wouldn't know it by his accent, but the main character is played by a Kiwi :ROFLMAO:
 
Watching Masters of the Air on AppleTV. It's a Tom Hanks produced show and is kind of his 3rd instalment after Band of Brothers and Pacific about the USAAF daylight bombing of Germany.

It's been really good so far but, it's let down due to it's America saves the world vibe which his other series didn't have. This is a shame as all the bombing of Germany did was kill a lot of civilians, it didn't really slow down their ability to produce war material.

I wonder how long it'll be before someone makes a movie about Israel exterminating Palestinians... :unsure: Civilians always cop the worst of any conflict.
 
If you are an Amazon Prime member, what the Landsman. It's done by the same guy that did Yellowstone only better.

Also, there is a new series based on the DEXTER series. This is a prequel which shows how Dexter got his job and how he became a serial killer.

Lawman, also by Taylor Sheridan based on the true story of Bass Reeves 1st Negro US Marshall 👍 on Prime not sure if elsewhere
 
Just finished watching Boardwalk Empire. Didn't see it on SBS when it was out, but clips kept appearing on my youtube feed, so of course I had to binge it. The short version is 'Game of Thrones set in 1920s Atlantic City' I really enjoyed it.

Boardwalk Empire was a fantastic series, I really enjoyed it.

Just finished watching Poldark, a drama set in the 1700s England

And just started Reacher on amazon Prime, but I'm undecided on that one yet.

I've read all the Reacher books and love the series. At least the actor playing Reacher is a big unit like in the books, unlike when Tom Cruise played him! The 3rd series arrives tomorrow, I can't wait.
