What's your preshave routine?

Normally I just have a shower then shave, with the weather going the way it is I might move the shave into the shower.
I have been recently trying the king of shaves oil and it's okay but I have to say I think any light oil would perform as well, better still I have some Nivea face moisturiser stuff I don't particularly like but it performs okay so a small dab of that then a warm shower hydrates my face well.
 
Warm wash with Kiss My Face olive oil soap,rinse,lather.
Pre shave products just don't work for me.
