They say that SkyRail is amazing, the views incredible -
OK, maybe pick your day, but for somebody with a fear of heights - today was not such a bad day in some ways!
[Ignoring the rain and little wind blowing things around]
At the base of the SkyRail is the Australian Armour & Artillery Museum.
A very cool collection of vehicles and artillery. You can also book a package at their shooting gallery downstairs. For a first time shooter like myself and my (21 YO) son the first 20 rounds with the .22 were an easy introduction. The 10 rounds with the .303 WWII Enfield were a whole different adventure.
The results -
(I only fired 18 of the 20 rounds of .22 with them waiting for me)
Grouping looks pretty good for a first attempt I'm told - but bear in mind these targets around only about 21m away!
Good fund and highly recommended!
