I almost always rock some tuneskies while I shave, it's all a part of my zen ritual. It's the most common 10-15 mins I have without interruption, so I usually pick an album I want to listen to and get going on the first couple of tracks. Lately, I've been hitting up the old school New Orleans jazz and blues coming into rock'n'roll era. We're talking Dr John, Fats Domino, Professor Longhair. It's nice to reflect on some guys who literally brought about the invention of whole new genres of music when you're getting ready for work in the morning. Sufficiently de-motivating for a long day of procrastination.
Usually though, I listen to my version of pump-up music. Pearl Jam, the Stones, George Thorogood.
@Mong. Try a bit of Harry Connick Jr if you like some old style N'Orleans jazz.
I listen to the sounds of Pink Floyd, Portishead, or as above some Harry Connick Jr.
I try not to have anything too energised going when I'm shaving.
Music to shave by….
