From @TroyTools a "'Trubby 2.5" (based on the size difference between a Simpson Chubby 2 & 3). The brush is in Curly Jarrah hardwood with highly polished CA finish set with a 2 Band Badger knot ex T Forsyth. A beauty to behold ❤️ @Phil Harmonica you were tempted with the Supplejack, does this hurt more
Seeing that lovely jarrah is a nice reminder of when I lived in WA. Pity they used to overuse the stuff for all sorts of things they didn't need to. I had an old workman's cottage (built c1890) in the middle of Perth for 20 years that was built on a jarrah frame, but all the internal walls were baltic pine. The white ants had a bit of a feed on the jarrah, but left the pine alone. Go figure.

I was going to ask how you got your mitts on the ex-TF knot, then I remembered Troy had a lot of stuff from him...

On special for less than a tenner, so I took the punt...

I contacted a local potter last week to order a ceramic water jug for my shaving stand. It arrived today and I used it for this evening's shave.

The jug stands about 250mm (10") tall and has a capacity if just over 3 litres. It goes beautifully with my shaving stand setup and works well. Cost was AU$50 including delivery.

New addition to the fleet. I already had a Blue Tip, and it served me well over the years, but the handle is pretty beaten up due to aluminum oxidation. Heck, I had to superglue to the handle to the base plate because there wasn’t enough meat left to hold it. This new one cleaned up nicely, and the handle looks beautiful. I threw in a Schick Krona Chrome, pure bliss :-)

As a matter of interest, where did you order yours from? Lavender is always in my wheelhouse, and I've seen enough enthusiasm for Eufros here to be willing to take the punt before my 2025 sabbatical...
@lu20vt was also behind the top secret lavender soaps, because, I told him and I knew you would be interested.

I wasn't sure @lu20vt and @silverlifter may have been a member of the lavender secret wet shaving society, so you better join their lavender secret clubhouse
