Cape 1372 13/16 Half Hollow - C&H Elm 2-Band Finest - Lodrino Fougère - Proraso Green Splash - Sukin Moisturiser

This was a test of @Lodrino's Fougère. Unfortunately, during transit, the scent profile obviously degraded as by the time I pulled it out this morning it was almost a pure gourmand: the top and most of the middle notes were gone, leaving a base of vanilla, coumarin and cashmere. It still smelled lovely, just not a fougère.

This is Francesco's vegan base, and he was keen for me to provide feedback, so I'll focus on that. Simply put, it is superb! Holds water beautifully and residual slickness is top notch. The shave was a delight. I would easily rank this soap with the best performing vegan bases, like MdC and SV, and consider it a notch above his tallow base. Fantastic work, Francesco! And many thanks for the generous samples! :)

Bowl/Scuttle:- Captain's Choice Handmade Ceramic
Brush:- Highlander Brushes 'Tabac' Classic 24/52mm Fan G5C Premium Synth
Soap/Cream:- Tabac (tallow)
Razor/Blade:- Weber PH with MR11 Bulldog Handle / Vintage Gillette US Super Stainless (spoiler) #8
Post/After-shave:- T.N. Dickinson Witch Hazel Astringent mixed into the 240ml bottle with Plunkett's Vita E Pure with Rosehip Oil (10 drops), Natural Plant Glycerine (20) & Tea Tree Oil Antiseptic (5)
Moisturising Cream:- Aveeno Active Naturals Daily Fragrance-Free (for autumn & winter season)
Fragrance:- Tabac
Deodorant:- Milkman Furiously Nude Unscented (Australian made)

So, apparently with a boar brush, the way to generate enough lather for three passes is simply to leave the brush near the opened puck whilst you shower... :p
