Cape 1372 13/16 Half Hollow - C&H Elm 2-Band Finest - Lodrino Fougère - Proraso Green Splash - Sukin Moisturiser

This was a test of @Lodrino's Fougère. Unfortunately, during transit, the scent profile obviously degraded as by the time I pulled it out this morning it was almost a pure gourmand: the top and most of the middle notes were gone, leaving a base of vanilla, coumarin and cashmere. It still smelled lovely, just not a fougère.

This is Francesco's vegan base, and he was keen for me to provide feedback, so I'll focus on that. Simply put, it is superb! Holds water beautifully and residual slickness is top notch. The shave was a delight. I would easily rank this soap with the best performing vegan bases, like MdC and SV, and consider it a notch above his tallow base. Fantastic work, Francesco! And many thanks for the generous samples!
