Hi everyone, long time shaver first time speaker!
Ive been shaving DE for around 18 months and would never go back. I have sensitive skin on the neck region, which seems common, so with a shave even with good shave cream, the mach 3 just left me razor burnt. Thats what led me to research "old school" way of shaving.
Purchased a few items and have added to my collection as we all do. I run a Merkur 34c razor and alternate between a variety of blades depending on how i think my skin feels (usually Astra), TOBS sandlewood shave cream or Proraso Red and lather up with a Vulfix pure badger brush. Usually finish a shave with Osma alum bar, witch hazel and then either Proraso Green AS or Geo F Trumper coral skin food and then a moisturiser.
Cant wait to search the forums and maybe pickup some tips or even some great items in the for sale section. Can never have too much can we!!!
