Is there any difference between the aftershave and the splash on? Which is better and why?

And you know what for that money it ain't half a bad Cologne/Splash may not be original blend but still has a decent enough scent

the splash is more floral and more pungent. I like the AS. Decent AS and scent

Agreed. Get the small 100ml AS. The Splash-On is also OK, but to me, it appears to be a watered-down version of the AS.

The splash-on can be used as an aftershave or as a light cologne. It works well as an aftershave, but the fragrance is light and doesn't last. IMO, the AS has a stronger fragrance and lasts a little longer.

I do like me some Brut... in particular '33' but it hasn't be available for a very long time.
Lucky for me I have some "vintage" splash along with my equally old Old Spice Cologne.
