Another hoppy monster, this time with a fresh, citrusy top that has a tropical vibe. Easy drinking, but at 7%, packs more than a big flavour punch!
Vanilla bean stout??? Are you drinking ice cream beer?Stopped by a Gin/Wine/Beer/Whiskey brewery for some lunch... had a nice White Chocolate Raspberry Sour beer.. didn't grab a pic as the phone was in the car, but I did grab a 4pack of their stout to try at home... not bad.

It's definitely sweeter than the Guinness Extra Stout I've been going through over the last week.
I'm partial to many stouts, but my absolute favourite is still a perfectly-poured Guinness on a cold winter's afternoon. Aaahhh...

Off tap, sure, I'll gladly take a regular, but if I'm grabbing some for home, the Extra wins out.
I'm also partial to Coopers Extra, Abbotsford Invalid Stout, and a couple of others I can't recall right now.
I have a couple of cans of Pirate Life Chocolate Stout that I can't bring myself to open as they're the last I could get my hands on, limited edition and scrumptious!
I'm hoping it becomes a seasonal thing, but won't hold my breath.

Don't get me wrong, I'll probably still give it a shot, just not so quick draw on this one.
I generally buy one a year. It is definitely an occassion tipple. Also, at 11% that's pretty much me for the night.

If she likes it, we're more likely to get it again (Abbotsford, Pirate Life, etc) if she doesn't, I get a second, which at 11% would probably do me for the night, and if I'm smart enough to get her to test mine first, I may have the second for another time.
An 8.5% "Ultra IPA" with a tropical/citrus top and a big hoppy backend. Delicious!
