Brush:SOC Cherry Badger
Soap: Wickham Super Smooth Club Cola
Razor: Merkur 34C
Blade: Wilkson Sword (1)
Post-shave: Nieva Sensitive Skin After Shave Balm

The Wickham is a great smelling soap. Great performance today, soap makes a great and easy lather. I think the tip to load more product and bloom the soap has done the trick :sneaky:. The SOC badger is a fantastic brush.

Razor: Stealth Slant
Blade: Asco
Brush: Omega S10108 S-Brush Pro
Cream: Proraso Red
Aftershave: Agua Balsamica

These Asco blades are sharp as hell. The past two weeks has demonstrated to me that the RRSS likes a keen edge.

Pre-Shave: Occams pre-shave soap, cold water
Razor: The WOLF(man)
Blade: PolSilver SI (1)
Brush: Plisson Synthetic
Soap: Barrister & Mann Ferox
Post-shave: Alum, Ghanese Organic Shea Butter, Stirling Vetiver alcohol free Witch Hazel

Another brilliant shave with the Wolf - the PolSivler work fantastic with the razor! Tried today shea butter as a post-shave, brilliant face feel, but it is a bit harder to work into the face. Well worth the effort and for me also better than Argan Oil.

Thoughts on the soap will be posted as another review - needless to say: PERFECT!

It does yet it actually works for me, otherwise I wouldn't bother.

That's great to hear about Polsilver in the Wolf @alfredus - I've been wondering what to try after the Voskhods. I reckon Feathers would be a serious overkill, but the razor feels like it wants something a little sharper than the Voskhods. Polsiver here we come :)

And @khun_diddy, what are these Asco blades you were talking about? Asco as in the English supermarket chain? If so, they will almost certainly be a rebadged blade from somewhere else. Can you give any more info please mate? You certainly seem impressed with them...

@Pjotr - I'll be trying out SE too. But like @khun_diddy, I've got a backlog of DE treasures to explore first. However I do have a NOS Gem Contour patiently waiting for its turn. I'm fascinated to see what SE shaving is like..

Brush: Simpson Classic 1
Razor: Merkur 37c
Blade: Merkur (1)
Soap: D.R. Harris Sandalwood Stick
A/S: Pinaud VIBR

A perfect BBS today, not too often that happens. Especially with a Merkur blade, I recently purchased my own 37c after using a loaner for several weeks and as with all Merkur razors it included 1 blade. Purely out of curiosity I decided to give it a try and very surprisingly I had what can only be described as a perfect shave. Like most guys I've tried and been less than impressed with Merkur blades in the past, ridiculously over priced, blunt, tug instead of cut are what I remember about trying them in a Merkur Progress, 34 and an EJ89 but in the 37c, simply perfect. No pulling or tugging, no issues at all.

Wade & Butcher, 6/8 Full Hollow, Spike Point

Wade & Butcher razors are among my favorite shavers. A glorious firm about straight razor making, they are still today among the very finest around. This shave has also been the occasion to test, for the first time, my latest aftershave which I called Thyrrenus, a tribute to the mythological Etruscan figure who was said to be one of the founders of the Etruscan League consisting of twelve cities. One of those cities was Perugia - my city - therefore this aftershave is also a tribute to ancient Etruscans, the noble and well civilized people who founded "Perusna" - now called "Perugia" - more than 3000 years ago. RazorGuy Thyrrenus is amazingly refreshing with a balsamic touch of eucalyptus and menthol, a sort of ice breeze caressing the skin, something I wanted to make for summertime shaves. I am very happy with it!
