Shave Result: Wonderful smooth shave from the Standard Razors DE89 style razor and the Suneko blade gave a surprisingly good shave for a Chinese blade (first time tried these), they felt sharp (no tugging) and smooth.

  • Astringent: Jennai Aloe Vera Gel with Witch Hazel & Vitamin E [A]

What do you think of the scent of the DRH Lavender? True EO or dusty/powdery? Or just fake? That's one of the DRH range I've never got around to trying for some reason (strange as this may seem to those who know me as a lavender-head) :unsure:
 
09 November - Shave No. 1787
This razor does not get the use it deserves. It is my travel razor, a Titan ACRM T.H-70, a very hard stainless steel blade ⅞ (21mm Dutch point half hollow dressed in African black wood timber scales. The edge is finished and maintained on diamond pasted balsa. The blade takes a lot of careful work to get a great edge on it, but once there it shaves beautifully and the edge can last a long time with just a light stropping on clean leather before each shave.

I get a genuine scent of Lavender but there seems something else to soften the floral, maybe Sandalwood ... I don't have a good nose that distinguishes aroams well though.
 
Pre-shave:- Cool Shower
Bowl/Scuttle:- Captain's Choice
Brush:- Paladin Cleo 26/52mm Bulb in Cobalt
Soap/Cream:- Mike's Natural Soaps ~ Barber Shop
Razor/Blade:- Blackland Sabre v2.0 - L2 SS Matted / GEM Personna PTFE Coated #7
Post/After-shave:- T.N. Dickinson Witch Hazel Astringent mixed into the 240ml bottle with Invite E High Potency Pure Oil (10 drops), Natural Plant Glycerine (20) & Tea Tree Oil Antiseptic (5)
Fragrance:- Dolce & Gabbana Pour Homme
