These GEM blades may not be the absolute sharpest in this game, but they're a strong contender for the most refined.

Shave Report: Stirling Soap Co - Island Man (Sample), my favouite modern Artisan. Island Man is a homage to “Creed Virgin Island Water”, scent described as: “An intoxicating blend of bergamot, lime, mandarin, coconut, jasmine, hibiscus, ylang-ylang, ginger, sugarcane, musk, and rum.” Stirling always gives me great lather and performance and the price reasonable, even here in Aus. An easy going smooth clean DFS from the EJ DE89 and the Suneko blade, on it’s 6th is still smooth.

11 to 17 November - SR shaves 1789 to 1795
I spent the week working through my matching seven-day set of Titan ACRO T.H-70 half-hollow ⅞ straight razors dressed in African black wood timber scales. All edsges are finished and maintained on diamond pasted balsa.

The edge on Wednesday was not quite up to scratch so after the shave it got a full balsa strop progression. Friday's razor must have been faulty due to it giving me three nicks!
