The water jug was made by a local potter and received today (AU$50 including delivery).

I am really starting to get use to shaving with this shaving stand. One of the advantages is that I can now shave in my bedroom that is air-conditioned for when things warm up.

A member of the Atherton Show Society heard about my shaving stand project and came to see it yesterday. He suggested that I enter it in the Atherton Show next June. I might do that, however I will have to arrange transport as it's a bit difficult to carry it the 30km each way on a motorcycle.

Pre-shave:- Cold Shower
Bowl/Scuttle:- Captain's Choice
Brush:- Stirling Finest Badger 26/54mm bulb knot
Soap/Cream:- Arko (4 shaving sticks grated into a 250ml plastic tub) .... :yuck: :vomit:
Razor/Blade:- Merkur 34C / Gillette 365 Stainless #1
Post/After-shave:- T.N. Dickinson Witch Hazel Astringent mixed into the 240ml bottle with Invite E High Potency Pure Oil (10 drops), Natural Plant Glycerine (20) & Tea Tree Oil Antiseptic (5)
Fragrance:- Burberry Weekend for Men

I hate Arko, and I really HATE bloody mosquitoes during summer wet and dry season, Arko shaving stick are fantastic for insect repellent against mosquitoes when you needed it in your den.

Yeah.... Trust me, it's bloody strange when having the famous piss stick (Arko), and is fantastic for insect repellent against mosquitoes, while someone like myself needed a good shave without have these bloodsucking bastard around it's really ignoring.
