I can/could see this being my daily set-up, keeping just 1 DE & 1 SE (selling the rest?) and my Iwasaki ‘’Kami” for Saturday’s shave, mmh will I. 🤔

I have a history of preferring synthetic knots (and as I require LOTS of lather, they're totally unbeatable with a hard milled soap), but I'm beginning to wonder if the combo of boar/badger might be better than the sum of its parts when it comes to natural fibres. AP makes superb knots, so I'm now mulling over a new commission for Troy. I'm sure he won't mind... ;)

I have Semogue SOC Misturas 50/50 mix and AP Shave 70/30 I find them both great and I certainly prefer “mixed” over Synthetic straight Badger or Boar YMMV. With brushes in rotation the only issue I have with the Semogue is the knot and ferrule “spin” if not used for a week or two, no issue just annoys me, stops after next usage with knot swell. So go another @TroyTools with the Mistura or AP shave 70/30 both available from Andrew at AP 👍

Henckels Friodur 14 15/16 Hollow - Semogue OC Boar - Extro Bergamotto di Calabria - Myrsol Agua de Limón - Sukin Moisturiser

Hot day working outside. Came in for a cold shower and then lathered up with the Extro and it was pure, citrus bliss. Shave left me feeling ten years younger! :D

Did you buy the soap directly from the manufacturer?

Pre-shave; Warm shower, face rinse with MWF bar soap.
Brush; Culmak No 84 Best Badger 1’’ knot, Butterscotch handle.
Soap; Yardley, Vintage Green label.
Razor; Atelier Durdan, La Faulx ‘’The Scythe’’ AC razor with ++ plate, machine finish.
Blade; Kai, Captain Titan Mild PINK.
Post-shave; Saponificio Varesino, Tundra Artica milk/balm.
Cologne/EDP;
Moisturiser;
Attar (Perfume Oil);
Shave;
The good old vintage Yardley soap with the vintage Culmak brush, a nice pairing. The shave as usual with the La Faulx smooth, close and efficient, finished with the SV Tundra Artica, which for some reason goes really nice with the Yardley?
Lovely shave no issues.
