Silly me thought I was shaving with the milder plate but a few strokes in and I knew things would get interesting as the blade felt super sharp. There's a reason why they use these in medicine as I managed to mow down the hairs with ease and in the process nick myself. A little bit of redness on my adams apple as I went a bit crazy. I'm going to try the milder plate next prior to pairing with the Rocca but otherwise a lovely shave full of musky goodness!!!

2 pass WTG, XTG + touchups = DFS+. Another great shave, and only 1 more use to retirement.
The Soap, First Line Shave - Fall Out. Scent is medium to strong off the puck and th same for the splash.

Scent notes,
Top note: Violet Leaf Accord, Bergamot Oil, Coriander Seed Oil
Middle note: Rose Oil, Lily of the Valley Accord, Black Pepper Oil
Base note: Ambergris Accord, Patchouli Heart, Vanilla Bourbon

This soap and splash are a really nice dark cypress scent, with the all the scent notes seamlessly blending in. I do detect the floral notes which are not distracting and add lightness and balance , and the pepper and patchouli which add spiciness and add to the dark notes. On the dry down, I detect the violet leaf, pepper leaf, patchouli, vanilla bourbon. I believe this is dupe of YSL - Tuxedo, makes sense as to why it so sophisticated and extremely well blended. Thumbs up.(y)
