I have both and I found the Astra slightly smoother, about the same sharpness and lasted longer than the King C.First time trying the Astra Greens...they felt good, honestly couldn't really tell the difference between them and the King C Gillette, will need more practice to tell the difference in feel.
Stay safe during the new lockdown peeps!
The King C Gillette blade are supposed to be the same as the Astra SP or maybe the Astra SS??I have both and I found the Astra slightly smoother, about the same sharpness and lasted longer than the King C.
Soap: NO RAWR
Brush: TF 2 Band
Razor: Lambda Ares
Blade: Treet Black Carbon (1)
Post: Faena Aftershave Lotion
I’ll try them back to back and see.The King C Gillette blade are supposed to be the same as the Astra SP or maybe the Astra SS??
I thought I had posted this earlier this morning, but just noticed it was still sitting in the edit box...
Pre-shave: Hot water, Pears soap
Brush: Yaqi Rainbow Pony
Soap/Cream: Ethos - Succès - Thanks @rhodes96
Razor: RR SS Hawk V3
Blade: Feather Professional Super
Post-shave: Shower, Homebrew moisturiser, La Roche-Posay Anthelios SPF50+
Back to some of these fantastic samples from @rhodes96's collection. Not random this time, I opened the container, took a sniff and thought "that's nice". And it is. The lather is top-notch, I can think of no way it could be improved. The scent is very light, pineapple and smoke. If you like strong-scented soap, you won't like this, but I like it a bit understated.
I thought about putting this on my shopping list for next year, but sadly it seems to be unobtainium

FYI https://ethosgroomingessentials.com/collections/shave-soapsTop of the Chain now stock Ethos soaps. So no longer unobtanium for most. Success's fragrance is a homage to Creed Aventus.
