It obviously hits different people in different ways - Mrs G was "done" at the same time as I, and she's still out for the count, while I'm pretty much OK now. Yesterday, I felt like I had been sat on by a rhinoceros. And a friend of ours couldn't even see well enough to drive for 3 days...

Big thanks for @rhodes96 for sending me a couple of tucks of the Gillette Minora blades to try. Loaded up the Rocca R96 on 3-4 days growth and it did not disappoint, this may well be my new favorite blade. The shave was amazingly smooth (possibly the smoothest I have had to date), but this may have been because I have not shaved much lately and the skin is fresh. I will continue shaving with this blade all week (daily) to know for sure.

Post-shave: Shower, Homebrew moisturiser, La Roche-Posay Anthelios SPF50+

This is what I had in mind for yesterday, but just as fine today...

Kangaroo Island Whisky is Gin google it up, I’ve had it before about 4 years ago.

Port Charlotte 10YO? Yeah should be fine, however, I’m told Port have way too much bloody sugar.

I've used Long Rifle Brown Bess (Thanks to @Wilkshire13 (y)) and it's a great performing soap. The scent of that is very similar to that of DG/CL Gratiot League Square, if that helps. I can't describe it, and it's not a scent I would normally go for. I prefer the Long Rifle version.

On a mission to finish this soap because I have a nice tub of L&L grooming Chatillon Lux TSM Fougere to pair with the aftershave
The vintage Gillette Super Stainless Steel blade is showing no signs of dulling and no burrs.

I’ve been a little slack this last week I haven’t shaved in 5 days. Normally it is 2 or 3 days.

I started feeling a little scruffy with 5 days worth of growth. I love that smooth head & face feeling, and then the slight stubble a day later.

With my first use of the Lupo, I thought it was aggressive, with today’s use of the Lupo, I agree that it is my most aggressive razor now. Not sure I’ll use it up on the dome just yet, but maybe one day sooner or later.
