Love me some fougere and this version doesn't disappoint. Finding the blade isn't as smooth as the MInora's but still shaves efficiently with no irritation.

Stay Safe & Happy Shaves!

I prefer Stirling British Leather over Wickams Russian Leather, because, it’s smell better, I find the Russian Leather smell somewhere sour in the background.
I'll have to take your word for it as limited experience with Stirling soaps but love the few I have sniffed (y)

Pre: Hot Shower, Nivea Skin & Stubble
Brush: Omega 10029
Soap: Blue Devil Tropical Colada
Razor: Gillette Tech British Ball End
Blade: Bic Chrome Platinum (2)
Post: Nivea Skin & Stubble

My first vintage razor shave. Mild and efficient, but only if I dialled in the right angle, and it seemed like a narrow place to be. The slim head/thin handle made for a light and maneuvarable razor but overall this worked against me as I was fighting to hold it steady. A lot of times I didnt make blade contact. A badly aimed stroke left me with a trail of small nicks on the neck. A fair bit of buffing later and had it down pat. Luckily the mildness meant no irritation. We are surely spoilt with modern razors; but it was a nice slice of history to experience.

Pre-shave: Hot water, Pears soap
Brush: Forgotten Art "Tarkine" 26mm Tuxedo
Soap: Stirling - Executive Man - thanks (y)@Castcore
Razor: RR SS Hawk V3
Blade: Feather Pro Super
Post-shave: Shower, homebrew moisturiser, La Roche-Posay Anthelios SPF50+
COTD: Monsoon Malabar Gold, India

Continuing with my Samples September, today's is a fragrance homage to Creed Aventus. I don't think it's a scent I could actually wear, but in a soap it's nice. I think my Dad would like it. He's an Eau Sauvage man: the two fragrances are not that similar, but they evoke a similar olfactory response for me, if that makes any sense.

Perfect sense = Needs lavender, and get rid of the patchouli scent note.:D

The big question, what does Mrs @Gargravarr think ?

should I give it some conditioner while I’m at it?

I have in the past and found with a boar it helped the funk and the break in. If you can [Adelaide is such a nice day today] leave the brush to dry in the sun. I have three on my front deck at present.

i'll shampoo and condition all my boars when I get back home tonight.. as for leaving the brushes outside, not sure if my dog will take a liking to them.. if she does, consider them gone... she loves to chew :)
