I wonder why people are worried by the 1.2mm gap ...

I've never really cut my ...

Heads up folks, pay attention when shaving and don't do something rash when not fully prepared.

Mining Camp Shave

Prep: Jack Black Turbo Wash Gel, Alt Innsbruck Emulsion
Brush: Rudy Vey Shavemac Three-band Silvertip Briar
Cream: Lea Menthol
Razor: ATT S1
Blade: Polsilver Wizamet Brown (1)
Post: Proraso Green Aftershave Lotion, Alt Innsbruck Emulsion

Shave Result: The WashPool soap puck is firm but pliable so I easily sliced a small portion off (about 1.2gm) and produced a creamy medium density lather. The lather gave a good solid overall performance, comparable to Proraso but with a better residual. For me the scent is a very pleasant woody herbal green aroma with a citrus background, scent strength 6/10. Terrific smooth clean DFS from KCG razor.

Brush:- Grizzly Bay w/ Fanchurian knot
Soap:- Noble Otter - Logbook
Razor: Pearl - Flexi (V2)
Blade: Gillette - 7 o’clock (yellow)
Tonic: Baxters - California Tonic
Moisturiser: Neutrogenia - Hydroboost

Second shave with the Pearl Flexi - great little shave. Still sat at setting no.3. Made light work of 4 days growth - lots of Posistive blade feedback.

All in all - great shave :)

Razor: Wilkinson Sword Pall Mall.
Brush: Restored Rubberset with 20 mm Badger.
Soap: Cella fashioned into a stick.

My Pall Mall arrived from Portugal a couple of days ago. I have honed three of my blades [of seven] and I'm pleased with them.
The postie delivered the blades belonging to @Sticky for his Wilkinson Sword Pall Mall and a couple of other vintage wedges so I will work on them as soon as practical.

A very smooth DFS.
