Looks good to me. A floppy brush is a fine thing if you like scrubbing to make your lather. Or even if you don't.

G’day Speedmaster. Can’t say I have tried the new Valobra soap. I can say, however, that the discontinued Valobra Glicerlanolina, which I use as a pre-shave, can also be used to shave directly with. It is the classic tallow-glycerin-lanolin base.
Yeah nah. It is a little floppy but I don't mind it. It's a cheap Yaqi knot and while it starts out relatively soft it fails to evolve, like a decent boar, into something great.

An evening shave (!!) after a 1100km drive from Katherine to Alice Springs. Never been to the latter before, and had absolutely no expectations whatsoever, having never even seen pictures of the place. It turns out to be really quite lovely, and a great place to celebrate my 60th birthday. Here's an evening view from my room (DoubleTrees by Hilton):
