Hi, just wondering as I love and only use O/S aftershave with the same brand soap, as I have some Yardley shave soap, can anyone give me a bit of a hint what their (vintage) A/S is like?

If you're talking about the Green Label, you might get lucky if you find a bottle that has never been opened, and stored in optimal conditions. I've come across a few bottles that are a bit skunky, and I'm not going to bother with that again.

Back in the late 70s, I often used the Black Label A/S or cologne, but I suspect it's a product of its time, and might not be so well received today. I'm still enjoying the Black Label soap though.
 
Gee whiz, you have got me hankering after Yardley soap now ...
